9:00 – 10:00 AM PT AI can accelerate work, but it cannot compensate for an inflexible application foundation. When business rules are buried in code, even a simple change to an approval threshold, SLA, notification, document template, or process stage can require developer intervention and another deployment cycle. The result is a solution that becomes harder to maintain precisely when the business needs it to adapt.
Join Avid Systems for a live BeTechly session exploring configuration as a core functional-design decision in Microsoft Power Platform. Kristina Strashkulych will show how to anticipate change before development begins, separate variable business rules from the core solution, and create intuitive configuration experiences that authorized business administrators can manage.
Through proven design patterns and a live demonstration, you’ll see how changes to process parameters can update Power Apps behavior without altering the core build. You’ll also learn how configurable architecture can reduce developer bottlenecks, clarify ownership, support scalable modernization, and create a more governed foundation for introducing AI into enterprise and public-sector workflows.
Continue the conversation in person at the 5th Annual Power Platform Community Conference, October 27-29,2026, in Las Vegas.
Join thousands of Microsoft business leaders, developers, architects, makers, and AI innovators for three days of expert-led education, networking, and hands-on learning. Use code B150 when registering for PPCC26 and save $150 on your conference pass.
Kristina is a Lead Functional Consultant at Avid Systems, with 6+ years of experience working with Business Applications and Microsoft Power Platform. Her background in Information Security shaped how she approaches solution design: look at the bigger picture, understand how things connect, and don't stop at the obvious requirement.
Much of her work has been on complex enterprise and public-sector projects, where requirements are rarely as straightforward or as stable as they first appear. Kristina focuses on discovery, functional architecture, and finding the balance between what the business wants today and what the solution will need tomorrow.
She enjoys the challenge of taking a seemingly simple request, uncovering the processes and decisions behind it, and turning it into a solution that is flexible, scalable, and actually makes sense to the people who will use it.
