In this sneak peek, we'll take that vibe coded app, break it, and reveal exactly what's missing. We'll show you what belongs on the client versus the server, and why trying to do everything in the frontend creates security holes and data integrity problems that'll come back to bite you. In the full workshop, we'll build a complete full-stack Power Platform solution that leverages AI in a grounded way and sets realistic expectations about what it can do today.

This is a live, start-from-scratch build. No scripts, no prebuilt pieces. Just a real-world problem and a step-by-step process to design and build the solution together.

Along the way, you’ll learn how to think through:

- Data modeling (what tables, relationships, and why)
- Building a clean, usable app experience
- Parent/child relationships and editable grid patterns
- When Power Automate adds value (and when it doesn’t)
- What to do when things break (because they will)

This session is about the process, not just the final app. You’ll see how to go from problem → design → working solution in a way you can apply to your own projects immediately.

Business process automation can sound complicated, but what makes Power Automate unique is that anyone can get started quickly with no prior technical knowledge. In this hands-on sneak peek, I will walk you through building a complete approval flow from scratch using Power Automate cloud flows. You will see how to set up a trigger, configure an approval action, handle the approve and reject paths with conditions, and send a notification to Microsoft Teams. By the end of this session, you will have seen a fully working approval flow built in real time and understand the foundational building blocks that we will take much further in the full-day workshop at PPCC26, where we cover expressions, loops, error handling, AI integration, and more.

In this intro session, I will show how to get a demo tenant, configure a Power Platform environment, install Power Automate Desktop, and register a machine so it can be used by cloud and desktop flows. We will also look at the most important configuration steps and common issues that can prevent your machine or desktop flows from being available in the right environment.

You will watch that skill read a real situation, weigh the machine truth against the human truth, and draft the right next move, with a person still on the send. No agent builder, no black box. Just three IQs, wired to act as one.

You already know Power Platform and Power Pages. Now it's time to skill up by adding AI team members to your crew. In this preview, you'll bring in AI Clients like Claude Code and the GitHub Copilot app, fine-tune their skills for Dataverse and Power Pages, and put them to work building the foundations of a Case Management and Knowledge Base solution, including a model-driven app and a site with built-in AI-generated summaries. You'll leave understanding how AI-first development actually works, with the AI client, its skills, and MCP servers acting as real contributors on your team. It's the strategy that runs through the full-day workshop, distilled into one focused build.

In this beginner-friendly session, we’ll explore practical ways to work more effectively with Copilot while building with Power Platform. Learn how context, clarification, iteration, and follow-up questions can dramatically improve results—and why successful AI-assisted solution building is less about finding “magic prompts” and more about communication. This session is designed to help new makers feel more confident and prepared to collaborate with AI tools in real-world scenarios.
